Welcome to my world of art. I have been painting with watercolors, oils, acrylics, and mixed media in my Delaware Studio for over 50 years. I am truly inspired by my view in this historical area in Delaware called "The Wedge." My studio overlooks the lovely landscape( above) and I have been painting this ever- changing view since the early l960's.
I love to paint landscapes, florals, and seascapes. I will try to show many of these paintings on this Weebly website and change them frequently, so be sure to check back and see new choices and old favorites.
I paint " en plein air " in Delaware and along the Maine coast. My Maine studio overlooks pristine Damariscotta Lake. Many of the watercolors, acrylics, and oils reflect my feelings either from within me or what I see and experience.
I can see a panorama of 5 islands from "Lakescape Cottage"..... sparkling waters, and the white spire from the distant church across the lake called "Bunker Hill Church" ( see painting above) .
It may be of interest to some who own a work of mine, that some of my very early drawings and paintings that were purchased at the Delaware Art Museum juried shows, or at galleries, were signed as "W.B. Breslin", or possibly "Winifred Boin Breslin". Sometimes I signed my name as "Wynn", but usually as "Wynn Breslin,or just "Breslin". ( "Wynn"is a name I invented to sign my paintings in Jr. High School.)
